Team Philippines at the 2025 Asian Winter Games opening ceremony

Speed skater Peter Groseclose and curler Kathleen Dubberstein led the Philippine delegation as flag bearers in the opening ceremony of the 2025 Asian Winter Games, Friday in Harbin, China.

The Philippines has 20 athletes in the multi-sport event as it competes in sports such as curling, short track speed skating, figure skating, alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, and snowboard.

The curling mixed doubles duo of Dubberstein and Marc Pfister will battle for the bronze medal on Saturday, while Groseclose will compete in the next rounds of the men's 500m, 1000m, and 1500m races.

Tallulah Proulx will also start her campaign in women's slalom on Saturday.
