Team Falcons showed its serious bid to make a mark in the country by acquiring the full roster of champion team AP. Bren for its first international tournament.
The new MPL Philippines squad revealed that the five-man core of the M5 world champions will make up its lineup for the Snapdragon Pro Series S6 APAC Challenge Finals next week in Malaysia.
The roster reveal shows exp laner David "FlapTzy" Canon, jungler Michael "KyleTzy" Sayson, midlaner Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel, gold laner Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano, and roamer Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo as well as sixth man Vincent "Pandora" Unigo will now banner Team Falcons.
Incidentally, Team Falcons had a previous partnership with AP. Bren but the two camps parted ways which eventually led to the former's decision to buy its own slot in MPL.
Team Falcons, however, did not reveal who will call the shots this time around as AP. Bren's longtime head coach Francis "Ducky" Glindro wasn't part of the initial post.
This will be Team Falcons' first tournament in the MLBB scene since entering the Philippine scene and they will get to test the waters against several powerhouse teams.
They are grouped with another Filipino team Aurora Gaming, Falcons Esports of Myanmar, and Indonesian clubs Onic Esports, RRQ Hoshi, and EVOS.
Team Falcons did not also divulge whether the same core will compose its team when the MPL Philippines Season 15 starts next month.
