Mobile Legends: Bang Bang unveils new logo, M7 host

KUALA LUMPUR — Mobile Legends: Bang Bang got a facelift as it revealed its new logo ahead of the M6 World Championship grand finals on Sunday at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The new logo marked a new beginning for the title with ML:BB set for a bigger roadmap next year, which includes a historic women's league in the Philippines and another separate league in China.

Publisher Moonton also revealed that the title is returning to the 2025 Esports World Cup with the MLBB Women's Invitational and Mid-Season Cup, where M6 host Malaysia is the reigning champion after reigning over Falcons AP. Bren last July.

The Philippines, meanwhile, is the defending champion in MWI after Smart Omega Empress dethroned Team Vitality during the previous edition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Moonton also announced that Indonesia will serve as host for M7, which will be staged in early 2026 to avoid a schedule conflict with the 2025 SEA Games set in December next year.

Indonesia had previously hosted the M4 in January 2023 which saw Echo deliver the Philippines' third straight title before Falcons AP. Bren went on to win the M5 in Manila.

"MLBB's global expansion continued in 2024 with the establishment of the Chinese league. We are excited to witness one of the world's gaming powerhouses test their strength in the MLBB esports ecosystem," Miku Chu, Moonton's head of regional esports and China, said during the M Summit last Friday.

"At the same time, we're delighted to see more competitive diversity at our tournaments. At the ongoing M6 World Championship, we have for the first time in M Series history seen four teams from different regions reach the Semi Finals."
