Yawi returns home, signs with TNC Pro Team

Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera is back on familiar soil as he is set for a Philippine homecoming, joining TNC Pro Team in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines.

The Phoenix Army announced Yawi's arrival after the veteran roamer parted ways with MPL Indonesia club Team Liquid Indonesia. He spent two seasons with the Indonesian team.

Yawi is coming home months after he flew abroad in February, when he agreed to reinforce Aura Esports in MPL Indonesia Season 13, before the franchise rebranded into Team Liquid Indonesia for Season 14.

Yawi, a key cog for Echo's title runs in M4 World Championship and MPL Philippines Season 11, was part of Team Liquid ID's championship team that reigned supreme in Season 14. 

Yawi now joins a TNC Pro Team that is eager to bounce back from a dismal campaign in Season 14, where it ended up winless with a 0-14 win-loss card. 

Aside from Yawi, Team Liquid ID also bid goodbye to another Filipino import in EXP laner James "Jeymz" Gloria, who has yet to reveal his next team as of posting.
