Adriano Moraes submits Kingad anew at ONE 169

Former ONE flyweight world champion Adriano Moraes scored another submission win over Danny Kingad in their rematch on the undercard of ONE 169 on Saturday at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Moraes went for the early takedown just ten seconds into the fight. Kingad got the fight back up on their feet before they headed back to the mat, where both demonstrated their grappling ability.

In round two, both fighters fought standing up, with Kingad getting the better of the exchange. Moraes then took the bout to the ground again and went for a guillotine choke after Kingad exposed his neck.

Locked and with nowhere to go, Moraes forced Kingad to tap at the 4:14 mark of round two. The win is his Moraes' second triumph over Kingad, having submitted the Filipino as well in their first fight in 2017.
