PH men's curling team rules Pan Continental Curling Championship B-Division
The Philippine men's curling team ruled the B-Division of the Pan Continental Curling Championship after defeating Kazakhstan in the finals, 9-3, on Saturday in Canada.
This capped the Philippines' sweep of Division B as it registered a 10-0 win-loss card in the round robin elimination, and defeated Hong Kong, 6-1, in the semifinals.
Hong Kong took home the bronze medal after beating Jamaica in the bronze medal match, 8-7.
The team is composed of PFISTER Marc Pfister, Christian Haller, Enrico Pfister, Alan Frei, and Benjo Delarmente. Miguel Gutierrez and Jessica Pfister serve as coaches, while Joselito Cruz is the team official.
With the win, the team is also promoted to Division A where it will face powerhouse teams like USA and Canada.
