T1 wins Worlds 2024; Faker is Finals MVP

T1 is once again a League of Legends world champion.

The South Korea-based team defeated Bilibili Gaming, 3-2, in the grand finals of the 2024 World Championship to claim the Summoner's Cup on Saturday at The O2 Arena in London.

Prior to the finals, T1 defeated Gen.G Esports, 3-1, in the semifinals, and swept Top Esports, 3-0, in the quarterfinals.

Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok was named as the Most Valuable Player of the Finals series.

T1 also won the world title in 2023.
