Australia's Oscar Berry, Sierra Kerr rule Siargao International Surfing Cup
Oscar Berry and Sierra Kerr of Australia ruled the Siargao International Surfing Cup.
Berry edged out compatriot Xavier Huxtable to rule the men's finals on Saturday.
Berry had a total score of 11.90 to top the tourney while Huxtable had 11.56 to finish as the runner up.
The Philippines' John Mark Tokong, who reached the semis, fell short against Huxtable (11.40) as the former scored 9.34.
In the women's division, Kerr had a total of 17.90 to claim the title as she defeated fellow Australian Charli Hately who scored 8.07 in the finals.
The Siargao International Surfing Cup, a World Surfing League QS5000 event, is considered as the largest international surfing tournament held in the country.
