Carlos Yulo visits former club in Japan

Filipino Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo is back in Japan.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Yulo shared photos of his visit at the Tokushikai Gymnastics Club.

"Being able to train with great friends like you is a great motivator for me," a translation of Yulo's post read.

Japan's own gold medalists Shinnosuke Oka and Takaaki Sugino were also in the gym.

Yulo was recently recognized by the Japan Embassy to the Philippines for his achievement in the 2024 Paris Olympics where he won gold medals for the floor and vault exercise of men's gymnastics.

Recently, he also graced the cover of a magazine and also joined the Philippine Navy.
