Para archer Agustina Bantiloc registers season-best, places 28th in Paralympics ranking round
Para archer Agustina Bantiloc registered a season-best 618 points and placed 28th in the ranking round of the women's individual compound open event on Thursday (Philippine time) at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
The 56-year old Bantiloc placed last in the first half with 313 points and remained in the said spot after the ranking round concluded.
According to the Paralympics website, "In individual events, archers shoot 72 arrows at the 10-circle target, divided into 12 ends of six arrows each. Each athlete is allowed four minutes per round."
She will face Brazil's Jane Karla Gogel in the 1/16 elimination round on Friday.
Bantiloc is also one of the Philippine's flag bearers in the Paris Paralympics opening ceremony, alongside Ernie Gawilan.
