Philippines at the 2024 Paris Paralympics


The Philippines has six para athletes competing in the 2024 Paralympic Games.

The Paralympics opened on early Thursday (Philippine time) and will be held until September 8.

Here are some of the details on Team Philippines in the Paris Para Games.

Opening Ceremony

Ernie Gawilan and Agustina Bantiloc were named as the flag bearers of Team Philippines in the opening ceremony. They will wear outfits which highlights the Filipino heritage, as designed by Ditta Sandico.

  • Angel Otom - women's para swimming

The Philippines eyes to add another medal to its haul as the country only has two bronze medals from powerlifter Adeline Dumapong in 2000 and para table tennis player Josephine Medina in 2016.
