Heroes' parade for PH Olympians arrives at Rizal Memorial

The heroes' parade for Philippine athletes who competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics has arrived at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Carlos Yulo, the Philippines' two-time Olympic gold medalist, led the parade, along with 15 other athletes who are in the country after the Summer Games.

Missing from action are EJ Obiena, who has a prior commitment, weightlifter Vanessa Sarno, boxer Eumir Marcial, gymnasts Aleah Finnegan, Emma Malabuyo, and Levi Ruivivar, and golfers Dottie Ardina and Bianca Pagdanganan.

The parade went through a 7.7 kilometer route which started at the Alw Theater in Pasay City and passed by Manila roads such as Roxas Boulevard, Padre Burgos Ave., Finance Road, Taft Ave., Quirino Ave., and Adriatico Street.

The parade came a day after majority of the Olympians arrived in the country from their Summer Games stint.
