Carlos Yulo says girlfriend Chloe helped with his mental health ahead of Paris Olympics

Carlos Yulo has his girlfriend Chloe to thank as one of the reasons why his mental health was in good status in the run up to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Yulo won two gold medals in the Summer Games, including the first for the Philippines in gymnastics.

“Naalagaan po ‘yung mental health and well-being ko po. Mas nakilala ko po ‘yung sarili ko personally. Through ups and downs po, nandoon po talaga si Chloe,” Yulo said in a 24 Oras interview on Thursday.

“I’m really grateful na di niya ako sinukuan, di siya sumuko sa pangarap naming dalawa.

“Sobrang thankful po ako sa kanya, sobrang thankful po ako kay God na pinakilala ako sa kanya,” he added.

I'm really grateful that she did not give up on me, she did not give up on our dreams. I'm so thankful to her and so thanful to God that I was introduced to her.]
