John Ceniza bows out of Paris Olympics

John Ceniza bowed out of the 2024 Paris Olympics after failing to make a successful lift in the snatch portion of the men's weightlifting 61kg event on Wednesday.

Ceniza had three attempts to lift 125kg but all were unsuccessful.

After those attempts, he was registered as DNF (Did Not Finish) in the results.

Weightlifters Elreen Ando and Vanessa Sarno will still compete in their respective events on Thursday and early Saturday.
