How Team Philippines is faring at the 2024 Paris Olympics
After more than 10 days of competition, the Philippines is already assured of at least four medals in the Paris Olympics.
Here's a recap of the country's recent highlights in the Summer Games.
Carlos Yulo's double gold
Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo won the country's first two Olympic gold medals in the Paris Games.
Yulo ruled the floor exercise finals on Saturday, followed by the vault finals on Sunday.
Aira Villegas assured of at least bronze
Boxer Aira Villegas is now assured of at least a bronze medal as she punched her way to the semifinals after defeating French bet Wassila Lkhadiri in the quarters. She will face Turkish boxer Buse Naz Cakiroglu in the semis on Wednesday past 4 a.m.
Nesthy Petecio assured of second Olympic medal
Nesthy Petecio is also assured of her second Olympic medal as she entered the semifinals against Poland's Julia Szeremeta. This will be her second medal from the Summer Games following her silver from Tokyo three years ago.
Carlo Paalam bids medal hopes goodbye
Carlo Paalam ended his Olympics campaign after falling short against Australia's Charlie Senior in the quarterfinals of the men's 57kg division.
EJ Obiena finishes fourth
EJ Obiena had a heartbreaking finish in the Paris Olympics as he placed fourth in the pole vault finals. Obiena said he has yet to decide on his return for another Olympic run, and apologized for what happened.
Jarod Hatch makes early exit
Swimmer Jarod Hatch also plunged into action recently but made an early exit as he finished 8th in his heats and 36th overall in the preliminary round.
Lauren Hoffman and John Cabang Tolentino end runs
Hurdlers Lauren Hoffman and John Cabang Tolentino also made their respective debuts in women's 400m hurdles and men's 110m hurdles, respectively. They were both relegated to repechage. Hoffman bowed out of competition as she finished 7th in her repechage heat, while Cabang Tolentino revealed suffering from an injury to miss the repechage and eventually end his campaign.

- Joanie Delgaco (rowing) - 20th overall
- Hergie Bacyadan (boxing) - Round of 16 exit
- Kayla Sanchez (swimming) - 15th overall

- Elreen Ando (weightlifting) - August 8, 9:00 p.m. - Women's 59kg
- Vanessa Sarno (weightlifting) - August 10, 1:30 a.m. - Women's 71kg
