Carlos Yulo has made the Philippines very proud, and Filipino celebrities couldn’t help but congratulate the 24-year-old Olympian on social media for bagging not one but two gold medals for men’s artistic gymnastics.
On Instagram Story, Lea Salonga congratulated Carlos on his back-to-back gold medals for the Philippines.
Congratulations! Mabuhay ka!” Lea wrote.
On X (formerly Twitter), Miss Grand International 2020 1st Runner-Up Samantha Bernardo said Carlos’s win at the Paris Olympics was “like a fairytale.”

Earlier, Vice Ganda said Carlos would get free entrance, food, and drinks at her newly opened comedy bar for winning gold medals at the Olympics.

Carlos bagged the gold medal for the vault finals at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Sunday evening.
This comes at the heels of Carlos’s historic gold medal victory in men’s floor exercise on Saturday, making him the first-ever Filipino to win two gold medals at the Olympics in Philippine history.
