Philippines moves up to No. 19 in latest Paris Olympics medal tally after second gold

After Carlos Yulo delivered a second gold medal during the men's vault finals of the gymnastics competition, the Philippines moved up to No. 19 in the latest 2024 Paris Olympics medal table.

The country, with two gold medals, is currently in a three-way tie with Azerbaijan and Serbia.

Azerbaijan two golds both came in judo while Serbia has a gold medal in tennis, courtesy of superstar Novak Djokovic, and one in shooting.

However, the Philippines could move up again soon as the official table as Filipina boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas are already guaranteed medals for reaching the semifinal round of their respective divisions.
