Carlos Yulo's golden performance in Olympic floor exercise

Carlos Yulo won a historic gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics after ruling the men's floor exercise finals on Saturday in Paris.

Yulo scored 15.00 to top the event.

Israel's Artem Dolgopyat claimed silver as he finished second with 14.966 while Filipino-British gymnast Jake Jarman copped the bronze with 14.933.

Yulo became the first gymnast to win an Olympic medal for the Philippines and won the country's second gold medal, following weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz back in the Tokyo Olympics.
