Carlos Yulo scores 15.000 in floor exercise finals of Paris Olympics

Carlos Yulo left it all out on the mat, dazzling and collecting an impressive 15.000 in the floor exercise finals of the 2024 Paris Olympics men's artistic gymnastics on Saturday at the Bercy Arena. 

The 24-year-old Filipino gymnast got 6.600 from difficulty and 8.400 from execution and is the current leader in the eight-man field. 

He also scored better over Tokyo gold medalist Artem Dolgopyat of Israel who had 14.966.

There are still five competitors left, including Filipino-British Jake Jarman of Great Britain, to determine who will finish on the podium. 

Yulo came in as the second seed after tallying an impressive 14.766 during the qualification round while the 22-year-old Jarman topped the preliminaries with 14.966 markers.
