John Cena announces retirement from wrestling

John Cena has officially retired from professional wrestling.

The announcement came from World Wrestling Entertainment Inc.’s (WWE) post on Instagram, where the 47-year-old wrestler unexpectedly appeared at a Money in the Bank event in Toronto, Canada.

“Tonight, I officially announce my retirement from the WWE,” Cena said during his speech.

“I hear mixed opinions out there, a lot of questions maybe, right?” he added.

Aside from being a wrestler, Cena is also an actor and a rapper.
