Team Liquid Echo sweeps Twisted Minds to begin MSC bid

Team Liquid Echo made sure to open its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024 campaign the right way, blanking hometown bet Twisted Minds of Saudi Arabia, 2-0, on Wednesday in Riyadh. 

Echo's victory saw the Philippines undefeated in day one of the group stages as another representative in Falcons AP. Bren also swept Xianyou Gaming of China earlier today. 

Decorated gold laner Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzalez starred in the opening game, imposing his will using Moskov as the M4 Finals MVP scattered nine kills and four assists against just two deaths as the reigning MPL Philippines titleholder drew the first blood. 

Then it was Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno's turn to take charge come Game 2 after the star jungler unloaded a clean KDA line of seven kills, highlighted by the late pick off against TROLLL (Chou) and 7ODA (Nolan), while also collecting six assists on Ling. 

Echo will return to action on Friday against Team Spirit in bid to go 2-0 and inch closer to the quarterfinals.
