MOBA game 'Honor of Kings' formally launched in the Philippines

Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game 'Honor of Kings' has finally made its way to the Philippines.

Honor of Kings, or simply HOK, is published by Tencent and is played similarly to that of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and League of Legends: Wild Rift, where five players will battle five other players using specific heroes, with the team taking down the opponent's base first emerging as the winner.

HOK announced that the video game can now be downloaded from various app stores with players allowed to own up to 28 heroes and 21 skins for free, given they achieve certain in-game activities.

HOK has also mounted different IP collaborations with SNK, Saint Seiya Hello Kitty, and Bruce Lee for its first month of launch.

Next month, HOK will also host the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 Tournament, which will serve as a pathway to the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason in the upcoming Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Philippine team BOOM Esports will fly the flag in the said Malaysia tilt after reigning supreme in the Philippine qualifiers earlier this month.
