Team Liquid Echo, Falcons AP. Bren group draw results revealed

Team Liquid Echo and Falcons AP. Bren, which will fly the flag in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024, have been grouped with tough opponents as they look to bring the country's glory back in the prestigious tournament next month.

Reigning MPL Philippines Season 13 champion Team Liquid Echo is bunched in Group C, where it will take on Team Spirit and Twisted Minds, as well as the winner of the wild card stage set to be held from June 28 to 30.

Team Spirit is composed of prized talents after it signed the core of Russian club Deus Vult, a team that finished fourth in the M5 World Championship, for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 3, which the squad ruled to qualify for the MSC. 

Twisted Minds, meanwhile, is led by Filipino coach Hendrich "Lyrick" Clahi. 

Bren has also been drawn to a strong pool in Group D, where the MPL Philippines runner-up will take on Xianyou Gaming of China, American club Cloud9, and Myanmar powerhouse Falcon Esports. 

After the wild card staged late this month, the MSC proper will kick off on July 3 with the group stages, where teams will figure in a single round-robin of best-of-two (BO2) matches. 

The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages while the two lowest squads will end their runs.

The number one seed from each group will then take on the second highest teams in the other groups with all matches now in a best-of-five format.
