Blacklist sends Fnatic ONIC PH packing too, barges to upper bracket semis

Blacklist International flaunted its championship build after ousting Fnatic ONIC PH with a 3-1 victory in their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 13 playoff clash late Wednesday at SM Southmall.

The Codebreakers, who booted out Minana EVOS in the opening game of the play-in, are now through to the upper bracket semifinals round with a finals rematch against Team Falcons AP.Bren.

Exhaustion almost stood in Blacklist's way, absorbing a Game 1 hiccup with Fnatic ONIC PH unleashing a masterful 14-5 victory behind the flawless 2/0/9 performance from Jomari "Escalera" Delos Santos (Grock).

The former world champions, though, won the succeeding games to turn things around and keep their redemption tour alive.

Midlaner Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo (Vexana) took care of the job in the second game before veterans in roamer Salic "Hadji" Imam (Edith) and exp laner Edward "Edward" Dapadap (Arlott) took charge in Games 3 and 4, respectively.

Blacklist will only have hours to prepare for its next match as it will return to the Land of Dawn right away on Thursday afternoon to face top-seeded Bren.
