Carlos Yulo grateful for 4-gold haul in Asian Championships
Paris-bound gymnast Carlos Yulo celebrated his gold medal haul in the 2024 Asian Gymnastics Union Men's Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Uzbekistan which concluded recently.
Yulo won four golds in the Asian meet, topping the individual all-around, floor exercise, vault, and parallel bars events.
"I am so grateful for this experience—the amount of hard work, dedication and support from the team PHI, coaches and loved ones has truly paid off. I couldn't have done it without all of you cheering me on every step of the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," Yulo wrote in the caption of his post on Monday.
"I am looking forward to continuing to work hard, push myself to new limits, and see how far more we can achieve. I am so blessed and thankful for this moment and I can't wait to see what other surprises the universe has for me. Thank you Lord God, always," he added.
Yulo's win also came just days after he parted ways with his previous management, KG Management, and just months before he heads to France for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
His brother Karl Eldrew also won a gold medal in the vault event of the juniors meet.
