Alex Eala celebrates first win in 2024 French Open qualifying round

Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala celebrated her first win in the qualifying round of the 2024 French Open on Monday.

The 18-year old tennis player defeated Ye-Xin Ma of China, 6-1, 6-1 in the first round of the qualifiers in France.

Eala posted on social media her photos with the caption "First Grand Slam win!!! Q2 coming up!"

The WTA no. 162 Eala will face no. 137 Taylah Preston of Australia in the next round of the qualifying round.
