Emma Malabuyo bags floor exercise silver in Cairo leg of Gymnastics World Cup Series
Philippine representative and gymnast Emma Malabuyo bagged a silver medal in the floor exercise apparatus final of the FIG Apparatus World Cup in Cairo, Egypt on Sunday.
Malabuyo scored 12.666 to finish second behind Japan's Mana Okamura (13.066), while Spain's Laura Casabuena (12.633) placed third.

The next leg of the World Cup series will be held in Cottbus, Germany on February 22-25.
The World Cup series serves as a qualification pathway to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Only the top two athletes per apparatus, based on the Olympic Qualification World Cup Ranking List, will be allotted slots to the Summer Games in Paris.
