Yawi heads to Indonesia, signs with Aura Esports

Yawi heads to Indonesia, signs with Aura Esports

Days after announcing his departure from Echo, Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera found a new home as he signed with Aura Esports to mark a new chapter in his professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang career.

With the move, the veteran roamer will get to strut his stuff in the MPL Indonesia, one of the more competitive leagues across the globe alongside MPL Philippines.

"This is my first time playing [as an] import guys," the translated caption of Yawi's post said.

"I'm excited and looking forward to the new adventures and challenges I will face and experiences on my new journey at Aura! I will do my best as a new roamer of Aura Fire and I hope you guys support me and Aura guys! Thank you guys!"

Yawi, who was a key cog in Echo's M4 championship run and MPL Season 11 success, will become the first Filipino to join the Indonesian club and will make his debut in MPL Season 13 next month.

The prized roamer, who is known for his signature hero Chou, will join an Aura side that finished dead last in the MPL Indonesia Season 12 with a dismal 5-11 card.
