MSC rebrands as Mid-Season Cup, to be staged outside Southeast Asia


MSC Mid-Season Cup 2024 Mobile Legends

Mobile Legends:Bang Bang announced on Sunday that it will rebrand the annual ML:BB Southeast Asia Cup as the Mid-Season Cup to further promote inclusivity and diversity within the community.

As part of the major change, the mid-year tournament will also be held outside of the Southeast Asia region for the first time.

For the past editions, MSC was staged across Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Cambodia and were only participated by a limited number of nations.

This year, MSC will see teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Middle East and North Africa, East Europe and Central Asia, Türkiye, Mongolia, the Mekong Region (Laos, Thailand. Vietnam and Brunei), North America, Latin America, and China pitted against each other.

MSC 2024 will also have a larger prize pool compared to past competitions.

Aside from MSC, also in the pipeline for ML:BB this year are the Snapdragon Pro Series organized by EFG, the MLBB Women’s Invitational, IESF, and the M6 World Championship to be hosted by Malaysia for the second time.
