Joshua Pacio and Jarred Brooks to run it back for ONE world title

Joshua Pacio and Jarred Brooks will run it back as they face off for the ONE strawweight world title again at ONE 166 on March 1 at Lusail Sports Arena in Qatar.

The 27-year-old Filipino lost his world title to the American in front of a packed hometown crowd at Mall of Asia Arena in December 2022.

After making a successful comeback against the world-rated Mansur Malachiev last October, Pacio will get a chance to reclaim the gold-plated strap he held for years.

Former world title challenger Danny Kingad, now representing Lions Nation MMA, will also face a familiar foe in Yuya Wakamatsu at ONE 165 on January 28 in Tokyo, Japan.

The pair previously shared the cage in 2018 where the Filipino triumphed by way of unanimous decision.

Coming off a win over Eko Roni Saputra last February, Kingad is raring to test his mettle anew against the hard-hitting Wakamatsu.

"It has been a long time since we fought so I am excited to test my skills again against Yuya," Kingad quipped.
