Tier One Entertainment and Alodia confirm parting ways

Tier One Entertainment Blacklist International Alodia Gosiengfiao

Tier One Entertainment and co-founder Alodia Gosiengfiao have both confirmed parting ways.

On social media, Tier One Entertainment wrote an open letter to Alodia, saying "there is no reality where Tier One Entertainment would have reached the heights we have reached without you."

Calling Alodia "an unwavering beacon of excellence" who continues to inspire the entire industry, Tier One Entertainment thanked her "for the time and dedication" she has given them.

"You are undeniably one of one," Tier One added.

"It is essential for everyone to find a place where their values align and their vision can flourish. We wish you all the best in your next chapter and hope you find that place both professionally and within your beautiful growing family," the gaming agency said.

In her announcement, Alodia also made note of vision and values.

"It is with a heavy heart that I bid Tier One Entertainment farewell," the content creator began. "The journey we shared in building the company has been both challenging and rewarding. However, it has become evident that our visions and values are not aligned."

"I am grateful for the experiences, relationships, and accomplishments we’ve achieved together," she added.

Perhaps responding to rumors, the newly married Alodia made light of her departure and wrote a short post-script in the comment section of her Facebook post: "I'm not pregnant," she said with a smiling face emoji.

Together with entrepreneur Brian Lim and esports personality Tryke Gutierrez, the popular cosplayer and content creator co-founded Tier One Entertainment in 2017.

Three years later, in 2020, Tier One established esport brand Blacklist International.

In the flurry of goodbye messages on Thursday, Blacklist International simply reposted Tier One's letter to Alodia and attached an emoji of a single black heart.
