Carlos Alvarez makes quick work of Chai at ONE Friday Fights 36

Mixed martial arts featherweight prospect Carlos Alvarez needed less than a minute to submit Title Chai on the undercard of ONE Friday Fights 36 Friday evening at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 24-year-old Alvarez took the fight to the ground in the opening seconds of the contest. Once on the mat, Chai had no answer to Alvarez’s ground game as the Team Lakay representative worked to secure an anaconda choke and force a tap at the 57-second mark of the contest.

The win improved Alvarez’s perfect MMA record to 4-0.
