Asian Games 2023: Alex Eala, Nino Alcantara settle for mixed doubles bronze after semis loss to Chinese Taipei

Alex Eala secured her second medal as she and partner Francis Alcantara fell to Chinese Taipei, 5-7, 3-6, in the mixed doubles semifinals of the 19th Asian Games tennis tournament on Friday in Hangzhou, China.

Despite the loss, the Filipino duo will still end up with the bronze medal.

This is Eala's second bronze medal in just her maiden appearance in the Asiad as she also copped the same honors in the women's singles tilt on Thursday.
