NO RING RUST

Lito Adiwang stops Mattheis in 23 seconds at ONE Friday Fights 34

ONE Championship Lito Adiwang MMA

Hard-hitting strawweight mixed martial artist Lito Adiwang showed no signs of ring rust following a 23-second stoppage over Adrian Mattheis on the undercard of ONE Friday Fights 34 this Friday evening at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Adiwang, who is coming off an 18-month layoff because of an injury, needed to land just one right hand on the chin to drop his foe in the opening seconds of the fight. Known for his relentless aggression, Adiwang followed up with a barrage of unanswered punches which prompted the referee to halt the contest.

The quick technical knockout victory improved Adiwang’s professional record to 14-5 while Mattheis dropped to 11-7.

Adiwang last fought in ONE: X back in March of 2022, when he was injured in a loss to Jeremy Miado.
