NCR finishes on top as 2023 Palarong Pambansa wraps

The 2023 Palarong Pambansa in Marikina wrapped on Saturday with the National Capital Region claiming the overall title.

NCR bagged a total of 85 gold, 74 silver, and 55 bronze medals to claim the overall title for the national contest.

Region VI Western Visayas finished second overall with a total of 60 gold, 45 silver, and 44 bronze medals, while Region IV-A CALABARZON had 52 gold and silver medals each, and 57 bronze medals to place third overall.

The Palarong Pambansa will return on 2024 in Cebu City, while Ilocos Norte will host the 2025 edition of the national tourney.
