Emma Malabuyo claims silver, Aleah Finnegan bags another bronze in Asian Gymnastics Championships
Gymnasts Emma Malabuyo and Aleah Finnegan added two more medals to the Philippines' haul in the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Singapore on Sunday.
Malabuyo claimed a silver medal in the floor exercise as she scored 13.166 and finished second behind China's Qingying Zhang (13.233). South Korea's Solyi Shin placed third with 13.066 while Finnegan missed the podium as she finished fourth with 12.966.
Finnegan, however, bagged a bronze medal in the beam finals with a score of 12.833. Q. Zhang won the gold with 14.200 while Xinyi Zhang placed second with 13.133. Malabuyo finished fifth with 12.166 behind Dohyun Eom of South Korea with 12.366.
On Saturday, Finnegan copped a bronze medal in the women's vault finals.
Finnegan has already secured a slot in the World Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp in September along with Kylee Kvamme.
