Filipino bowler reigns supreme in Singapore International Open


Filipino bowler Zach Ramin reigned supreme in the men's open division of the 53rd Singapore International Open on Saturday.

He defeated Thailand's Yannaphon Larpapharat 189-183, 229-212 in the finals.

Ramin is a 17-year old bowler whose family moved to Singapore when he was just three years old.

 

 

 

 

The teen bowler is the first Filipino male bowler and youngest Singapore Open champion since it started in 1965.

Ramin will take home a cash prize of $25,000 or around a million pesos.
