Swimmer Angel Otom cops fourth ASEAN Para Games gold medal after ruling freestyle event
Angel Otom is shaping up to be the one of the most bemedalled para athletes in the 2023 ASEAN Para Games as the Filipina tanker copped her fourth gold medal on Wednesday afternoon in Cambodia.
Otom ruled the women's 50-meter freestyle S5 after clocking in 42.22 seconds, snaring her fourth top finish and fifth overall medal in the ongoing biennial meet.

She previously reigned in the 200m individual medley SM5, 50m backstroke S5, and 50m butterfly S5 events, while she bagged the silver medal in 200m freestyle S5.
Meanwhile, wheelchair racer Jerrold Mangliwan also took home a gold medal after dominating the men's 200m T52 event. This is Mangliwan's second gold medal after he topped the men's 400m T52.
