Evaristo Carbonel earns another golden finish in ASEAN Para Games

Evaristo Carbonel hiked his personal medal tally as he bagged another gold medal in the 2023 ASEAN Para Games on Wednesday in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Carbonel ruled the men's discus throw F11 after throwing 25.67m, while Brunei's Awang Raduan-Awang Haji Mataha got the silver medal with his 20.99m finish.

Cambodia's Vann Chamroeun settled for bronze after a 14.92m performance.

Carbonel also secured a gold medal last Monday in men's javelin throw F11.

Meanwhile, Jezebel Tordecilla brought home a silver medal in women's discus throw F55 as Andrei Kuizon had the same finish in men's javelin throw F34/54.

The Philippines currently has at least 21 gold medals in the Cambodia Games.
