Team Philippines at the 2023 ASEAN Para Games Opening Ceremony in Cambodia

Just weeks after the 32nd Southeast Asian Games concluded, it is now the para athletes' turn to shine as the 2023 ASEAN Para Games opened on Saturday.

The opening ceremony was held also at the Morodok Techo National Stadium, the same venue of the opening ceremony of the recently concluded biennial meet.

Paraswimmer Ariel Alegarbes, the country's first triple gold medalist in the APG, was the flag bearer of the delegation.

Prior to the opening ceremony, the Philippines already won a silver in the men's 3x3 wheelchair basketball event.
