Athletics, swimming, MLBB women add to Philippines' medal haul
As Eric Cray won the country's lone gold medal on Thursday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia, at least 12 more medals from different sports were added to the country's haul.
Athletics led the way on Thursday's haul as it had three silver medals from Ronne Malipay (men's triple jump), Robyn Brown (women's 400m hurdles), and Sarah Dequinan (women's heptathlon), and a bronze from Mark Diones in men's triple jump.
In swimming, Thanya dela Cruz, Jasmine Alkhaldi, Miranda Renner, and Teia Salvino claimed a silver medal in the women's 4x100m relay, while Alkhaldi also copped a bronze in the women's 50m butterfly event.
The team of Rica Amores, Mery Vivero, Kaye Alpuerto, Gwyneth Diagon, Alexandria Dardo, and Sheen Perez settled for silver as they fell to Indonesia in the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang women's event.

Fencing had their share of medals from Noelito Jose (men's epee individual) who claimed silver and Jylyn Nicanor (women's sabre individual) who bagged a bronze.
Kristan Narca had a silver in kun khmer men's 57kg event, while Sandrex Gainsan took home a bronze medal from the men's jianshu and qiangshu of wushu.
As of writing, the Philippines has 27 gold medals, 51 silvers, and 65 bronzes for a total of 143 to rank sixth in the medal tally.
