Gymnastics' Juancho Miguel Besana wins gold in vault, Carlos Yulo claims silver in still rings
Juancho Miguel Besana became the Philippines' newest gold medalist from gymnastics on Tuesday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
Besana topped the men's vault apparatus finals after scoring 14.425. Thailand's bet Tikumporn Surintornta placed second at 14.150 while Vietnam's representative Hai Khang Trinh came third with 14.050.

Earlier, Carlos Yulo claimed a silver medal in the still rings event after placing second with a score of 14.00 behind Vietnam's Van Khanh who had 14.200. Malaysia's Ally Hamuda Abdullah finished third for the bronze medal with 13.00.

Besana's gold is the third from gymnastics following Yulo's individual all-around, and Ivan Cruz's floor exercise. The Philippines also had a silver in the team event.
In his other event, Besana placed fourth in the horizontal bars, while fellow gymnast Jan Timbang failed to reach the podium in pommel horse.
