Gymnastics' Ivan Cruz gets gold in SEA Games floor event

The Philippines has a new gold medalist from gymnastics in the Southeast Asian Games.

Gymnast Ivan Cruz on Tuesday won the men's floor event in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games on Monday in Cambodia.

Cruz scored 13.85 to get the gold medal, while Thailand's Tikumporn Surintornta scored 13.800 to finish second. Indonesia's Joseph Judah Hatoguan placed third with 13.50.

This is gymnastics' second gold and third medal overall in the biennial meet, following a silver in the team event and Carlos Yulo's gold in the individual all-around.
