Eduard Folayang converts old Team Lakay gym to Landslide Martial Arts Training Center
Former ONE lightweight world champion Eduard Folayang has renamed the old Team Lakay gym in La Trinidad to Landslide Martial Arts Training Center.
Folayang, touted as the face of Philippine mixed martial arts, made headlines last month when he decided to part ways with his longtime stable Team Lakay.
“I hope this facility can ignite the greatness of every individual that it touches, unleash it and serve it to the world,” Folayang said.
Besides Folayang, former world champions Kevin Belingon, Joshua Pacio, and Honorio Banario also left Team Lakay last March.
The old gym in La Trinidad was Folayang’s “share” of the Team Lakay franchise after he decided to leave the stable.
Currently, Team Lakay is located at its new facility in Pico where it houses the likes of bantamweight prospect Jhanlo Sangiao.
