Former MPL Philippines shoutcaster Rob Luna passes away
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community is mourning the death of well-known Filipino shoutcaster Rob Luna, who passed away on Tuesday evening. He was 37.
MPL Philippines confirmed the news through Luna's family.

"The MPL Philippines and the MLBB community deeply mourn the passing of Rob Luna, as confirmed by his family. He was one of the casters of the MPL Philippines who have made remarkable contributions to what the league is today," MPL said in a Twitter post.
"Please join us in offering our community’s thoughts and deepest sympathies to Rob’s family and friends that he left behind. Rest in peace, Rob."
Luna entered MPL as part of the league's broadcast team back in Season 4 and even had shoutcasting stints in several international events like the Southeast Asia Cup in 2021 and the M2 World Championship, where the Philippines' representative Bren Esports emerged victorious.
Since 2021, Luna has been working as a production manager for ULVL Productions, a company that focuses on amateur competitions in ML:BB.
"We want to honor his incredible life and contribution, not just to the Esports industry, but most importantly, to the people of ULVL Productions. More than just being the Production Manager of ULVL since 2021, he was a brother to the management and a father to the staff," ULVL said in a separate post.
"Rob, the time you spent with ULVL will always be cherished and remembered. You have been a valued member of this family and will be greatly missed."
