Shinya Aoki does outdoor striking training with Team Lakay

Former ONE lightweight world champion Shinya Aoki did not waste the chance to hone his striking during his visit to Team Lakay in Baguio City.

A day after giving jiu-jitsu lessons at the gym, Aoki went running in the mountain trails of Baguio together with Team Lakay on Thursday.

The run was followed up with an outdoor pad session workout with Team Lakay’s head coach Mark Sangiao and a partner play with ex-ONE world titleholder Eduard Folayang.

The day was capped with food and sightseeing before the Japanese mixed martial arts legend flew back to Japan the next day after spending four days in the Philippines.
