With success using his signature hero Chou, Yawi says: 'I think I'm the Chou god'

JAKARTA — Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera believes he's the best player to ever use Chou, which is the signature hero he's been successful with in his young career in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene. 

Yawi's Chou was already a key hero when Echo defeated RSG Philippines during the MPL Philippines Season 10 lower bracket finals, which, as a result, punched the Orcas' ticket to the M4 World Championship. 

Now in M4, Yawi's Chou has also been a key figure for Echo. With the help of Chou, Echo found its way to the Grand Finals where it will face compatriot and back-to-back-seeking Blacklist International in a best-of-seven affair. 

Chou was also drafted in when Echo sent home team RRQ Hoshi packing during their lower bracket finals.

"Yes, I think I'm the Chou god because if [it's] not banned, [it's a ] sure win," Yawi said on the heels of their 3-1 victory over RRQ.

During Echo's upper bracket finals match against the Codebreakers, Yawi caught everyone by surprise when he picked rival Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna's signature hero Estes dressed with the Blacklist M3 skin. 

The roamer, though, said he might not be using Estes again when they go for the title against Blacklist.

"No, because Estes of V33nus is so strong. Mine is not."
