Arcadia's RRQ Hoshi slays Onic Esports to set up M4 lower bracket finals vs Echo
JAKARTA — Filipino tactician Michael "Arcadia" Bocado's RRQ Hoshi team slayed the Indonesian champion Onic Esports in their lower bracket semifinals showdown, 3-0, to stay in the hunt in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship on Saturday in Jakarta, Indonesia.
RRQ Hoshi, the runner-up in the MPL Indonesia Season 10, will face the Philippines' Echo in the lower bracket finals for the right to square off with defending champion Blacklist International in the grand finals.
With the loss, Onic has officially ended its M4 run. Onic finished the group stage with a 2-1 slate before sending Falcon Esports of Myanmar to the lower bracket during their playoff series. Echo then fell to Echo to drop to the lower bracket as well and arrange an all-Indonesia match with compatriot RRQ.
RRQ and Echo will slug it out later at 6 p.m. (7 p.m. in the Philippines).
