Fil-Am Camryn Bynum proudly reps Philippine flag in NFL
While basketball and volleyball are the more popular sports in the Philippines, a Filipino-American football player is starting to make his name in the National Football League (NFL) in the US: Camryn Bynum.
And he's proud to carry the Philippine on his back... literally and figuratively.
The 24-year-old safety is currently playing for the Minnesota Vikings, whom he led to a 27-22 victory against New York Jets at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday (Monday in the Philippines).
After the big win, Bynum, who was drafted in the fourth round last year, was seen waving and carrying the Philippine flag on his back.
Always a great feeling going back in that locker room after a win.#Skol

"I thank God for the responsibility of this gift. Giving Jesus the glory and putting my country on my back… literally!" he said in an Instagram post.
Aside from Bynum, another young Filipino-American athlete is making waves in the US in Jason Robertson, who is currently the leading goal scorer in the National Hockey League.
