Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson passes away at 38

Former UFC world title challenger and Bellator mixed martial arts fighter Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has passed away at 38 years old, multiple media outfits reported. The cause of death remains unknown.

Johnson, 23-6 as a professional mixed martial artist, is best remembered for his monstrous knockout power. He holds notable wins over Glover Teixeira and Alexander Gustafsson, and has lost twice to former two-division champion Daniel Cormier.

In 2017, Johnson announced that he is retiring from mixed martial arts but came back four years later against Jose Barros in what was his first and last fight in Bellator where he won via second-round knockout.
